Hi all,

If anyone can attempt to decipher the signatures on these flight covers i would be most greatful. Both are from French Test flights from the 1950's.

The first one is probably "Avignon" (last name, jumps to eyes if you're french, it's the name of a well known town).
Could be Arrignon though (name present in France after google search).

The second one is trickier :
Pierre Lottan, I'm sure about Pierre, but not about the family name.
None of the possibilities (lottan, fottan, pottan, pollan, etc...) gives a common french name.

No results through historical SNCASO web search.
Hope it helps.
