They rescued the Spanish crew of the vessel Spinningdale after it ran aground under cliffs at St Kilda in February 2008 inhigh winds gusting up to 70 knots.
CHC's UK search and rescue business unit leader Ian McLuskie said:"This is well-deserved recognition for the crew after a success rescue that required great professionalism and courage.
"It is also, of course, acknowledgment of the work routinely undertaken not only by the coastguard search and rescue crews, but by the wider UK search and rescue community."
