Show them, that you are interested in historical planes, cause your are going to fly them if you join and don't forget to bring goggles and a scarf...:E
Like a lot of operator, they are in desperate need of pilots.
Know your AWOPS, Jepp and the a/c they use!
...Oh, and know everything there is to know about steam-engines...:)
Good luck!

Interview is quite relaxed normally with Chief Pilot and Chief Training Captain, as with any interview know AWOPS and a bit of gen on your current aircraft, obviously they wil also ask you personal questions about your career so far etc. You write a short technical quiz( about 25 multiple choice questions) before your interview. Know the directors of the company, what aircarft and engines they use as well as recent developments in the company ie buying 77.5% of Safair Technical. If succesful with the interview you do a sim ride and if you get through that then pschometrics. The atmosphere is very pleasant and it is a nice place to work, it has it's problems like any other company but overall very enjoyable. The pilots are in the process of forming a union so hopefully things will improve in certain ares that effect us. There are no benefits so you get paid a straight salary and I think the starting is R23500, R1000 more if you have an ATP, with an s & t of about R3000 on top of the salary. Once you have 4000 hours and 500 on company aircarft your salary will go up R2000.
Hope this helps if you need any other info then pm me. Good luck

The little exam isn't multiple choice, you need to write something down - unusual for exams made for pilots!

The sim ride is on the Comair B732 sim. You fly a departure from FAJS, then a steep turn or two, plus maybe an engine failure? Something like that, it's been a while...
