The member of staff walked towards him. He was concerned that he was on the runway and asked him what he was doing.
Morrison indicated that he was taking a short-cut from Ardersier to Inverness


I wonder if they really mean runway or whether they mean 'some airside place that isn't even remotely like a runway, but we'll call it a runway anyway, because everything except the terminal is a runway, innit'
