Question to Learjet pilots -
xxx
The "LR-JET" (FAA) type rating - which type Learjet is it valid for...?
Everyone I asked the question to, gave me a different answer.
I have a friend with an old FAA certificate listing "LR-23 LR-24 LR-25"...
Then another one has only "LR-JET" on his certificate, and flies a Lear 55...
I occasionally "raise the gear" in a LR-31A and my certificate says "LR-JET"...
Confused... Thank you if you can clarify...

LR-JET = All 20 series, All 30 Series, 55.
LR-45 = All 40 series (i.e 40, 45 and the XR versions)
LR-60 = All 60 series (i.e 60 & 60 XR)

My FAA Lic states my type rating as:
A/LR-Jet.
What does the A mean?

Just found it!
The "A" means I have an Airline Transport Rating!
