Incident: Egyptair B738 at Munich on Sep 13th 2008, bird strike

By Simon Hradecky, created Sunday, Sep 14th 2008 15:16Z, last updated Sunday, Sep 14th 2008 15:16ZAn Egypt Air Boeing 737-800, registration SU-GCP performing flight MS787 from Cairo (Egypt) to Munich (Germany), suffered a bird strike on its left wing while on approach to Munich. The landing was safe.

The airplane sustained severe damage to slat #3 on its left wing and is still (Sep 14th) on the ground for repairs.
