Tried the AOL free trial decided I didn't like it for lots and lots of different reasons so I un-installed it, however it has left behind an Icon on my desktop called 'Network Neighborhood'. My Ques. is, Did AOL bring this with it and leave it behind, or has it always been on my computer and AOL has just relocated it on to the desk top, Also what does it do, do I really need it and how do you get rid of it or even relocate it if I don't need it. Thanks for any help or advice you might have.

Network Neighbourhood is nothing to be worried about. It should be there. It's mainly used when connecting to a network (or even AOL).

Unless it's just a shortcut on your desktop, I'd suggest not removing it.

Hope this helps.

Agree with PT can just remove the shortcut if you want.

Sorry to hear that you did not enjoy AOL6 Used it for about two years now had a few minor problems but once sorted it has worked well. Regular connection speed with a 56k modem is 48000 and on a good day clock in at 49333.
