A group of us are hoping to go island hopping in the Caribbean next Feb, in a single engine piston. We've all got 2000+ hours jet time, and a few hundred hours each SEP. We've got JAA and FAA PPL's as well as JAA ATPL's.

Can anyone give us any contacts or places to start looking advice on how to go about renting a plane somewhere in the Caribbean?

I would go to San Juan to rent it.

You might try Ace Flight Center (http://aceflightcentervi.com/)on St. Thomas, USVI.

Thanks for the replies guys. We were initially looking at San Juan. They say that they'll only rent within US territory at Isla Grande, but will see what they come back with.

Cheers
