Anyone Flown Vh-uzo Be-58

Can anyone out there give any comment on VH-UZO a BE-58 Jetcraft operated. I'm helping a guy try to find out any info on it before he does a Pre-Purchase Inspection and hopefully buys it. Hasn't been flown for a while and we cannot do a Proving Flight in it. If anyone could post a reply or PM me it would be much appreciated.
Did it fly straight? Cruise speed 180kts? Any known Defects? ect.???

Bulldog... I operated it for Jetcraft for a couple of months early last year on bank runs.

It flew really well and if I remember it was a fast 58 as well (TAS 180-185). I can't remember any major dramas but this was over 18 months ago.

Thanks guys. C.R..We do hope to test fly it during the Pre-Purchase but up till then we dont know much about it. Other than Jetcraft operated it on frieght runs. And it needs some TLC...Thus the thread to see if we could find any info before we test fly it.

I seem to recall Jetcraft bought it at a Archerfield auction.
Transair had it for a while prior to that sometime.
Former reg was BRD maybe.
Sat around Brisbane for ages doing next to nothing.

I can't talk about the BE-58 but I do recall the previous owner of VH-UZO being Laurie Ogle's Lockheed 10A (VH-UZO - The Lockheed File (http://www.adastron.com/lockheed/electra/vh-uzo.htm)). The reference to VH-UZO in this thread's title grabbed my eye and brought back memories of helping out somewhat towards the end of its restoration :)

TH-586. It was orignally VH-BRD and operated up north before being bought by jetcraft. From a pilots POV, it was a excellent plane and flew very well. Unfortunately it cracked a few cylinders, had a gear issue or two due and would chew though starter clutches due to large amount of cycles. While at Orange, it would perform 6 sectors a day with the longest sector being 20 minutes. TAS 'ed 180 but used about 130 an hour during the bank runs but about 115-120 during longer sectors. It has under 10000 hours and long range tanks.
