Reckon 'it'd cost me 2 in London.

When and how do you show ya' appprecieation?

50p each time or buy a'proper drink?

Give her one whenever she will let you, even if it is 'later' . . .

We have 2 barmen/women at my local. When I offer them a drink they usually say "Cheers, I'll take a pound!" They chuck said pound into a glass and have a couple of drinks when they've finished their shift. Seems reasonable.
We did have one barman who, when offered a drink said" Cheers! I'll have a pint of lager" at 2 pounds 80p, a throw he didn't get offered many drinks after that. Neither did he last long in the job!
