Well, well, well... this guys are here to stay... they seem to mean business now.

Thank God for them, maybe Nigerian Aviation would have been in the jungles by now.

Can't wait to see that bird in MMIA:D:D

Anybody know where the training will take place?

I thought Uncle Richard had it in mind to buy his own oil refinery in Nigeria so he could supply his own fuel at cost.

I will pass on the idea to Uncle Richard!

Tiburon peligroso, what training are you refering to? Pilot, crew, etc? Pilots if I'm not mistaken are in Florida training.

Branson and fuel at cost?

VK has changed the face of aviation in this corruption ridden country.

I hope the authorities xpecially NCAA will learn from VK on keeping standards:ugh::ugh:.

If VK leave Naija, the country is the one loosing. We go back to our confusion again.

The coutry aviation have been highly improved with the entrance of Vk; no denying this.

surely not, y not? :)

To the best of my knowledge, VK has expedited delivery of the ERJ's. 4 will be delivered this year, with the rest (6) gradually following next year.

Rani,
As far as I know (what do I know?) there will only be 2 deliveries this year (both 190's) and then next year, the 170's. VK might then add 195's after that.

Regarding "uncle Richard" I read something in August that said Virgin Atlantic was selling 47 per cent of its 49 per cent stake in VK, having lost the battle to operate domestic flights out of the MMA international terminal.

When will the ERJ-190 5N-VNH actually enter service?

atedo

vk is clearing many doubts?:ugh:

Revnetwork

5N-VNH should be in LOS this pm. Considering that it takes the NCAA some time to get through the paperwork, I would think it should be in service in about a weeks time.

Thanks Revnetwork. What about the A330 plans, are they shelved for now? The 767-300s are aweful.
