SKT has stopped flying and not paid its pilots salary, what is going on???

"In light of Thailand’s political situation, South Korea has issued a travel warning for tourists considering a visit to the country which has resulted in a sharp fall in tourists from South Korea.

Thai budget carrier, SkyStar Airways Co., decided on Sunday to cancel its six weekly Phuket-Incheon flights and two Phuket-Busan weekly flights until September 21."

Employees are unpaid since August. Apparently the office is locked up due to non payment of bills. Somebody put this dog out of it's misery.

Sitting in the Bamboo Bar last night happened to overhear a conversation about Skystar restarting under a new banner with already some 40 tech crews under training in Borneo. 100 c/a to commence shortly so all is GO back to Inchon and Pusan.:ok:

Heavy maintenance apparently scheduled for two airplanes in a month.
