With regards to incorporation of an SB into a powerplant, be it engine or nacelle, where/what is the EASA & FAA's stance on where the SB incorportion should be recorded?

Engine AND Aircraft Logbook,
Solely engine logbook,
elsewhere?

Any links to applicable EASA/FAA docs would be useful.

Many Thanks,

Engine SB into the engine log book, Nacelle is Airframe and therefore goes in the Airframe logbook, EASA Part M subpart G has Continuing Airworthiness management requirements for record keeping.

I agree with 'themoonsaballoon' but would add that the company I used to work for, always required an entry in the airframe logbook stating that engine SB No.... had been incorporated on engine serial number....

I know it seems overkill but it often came in useful.

As a final note, always record in accordance with the instructions on the SB itself. You would be amazed how many engineers don't, relying on tech records to do it for them. In particular the reporting action, if called for, is often forgotten.
