View Full Version : Recruitment question: Is this normal?

I saw an ad today from a regional airline searching for CC.

They were searching for people, who, if accepted have to participate in the traning and exam with 2000 euro (something like 1500 pounds).

If they are successful, the airline will have them on priority list for the next time they are searching cabin crew members.

Now, am I dumb or this is regular practice with (small) airlines?

Thank you.

Looks like a scam.

It appears to be a 'Training/familiarisation' course which you have to pay for.

There are some airlines which charge for training or uniforms. My advice would be to avoid them and apply to a reputable company directly.

Eg.: you want a job with British Airways, apply to British Airways, not a third party recruitement company who want to rob you of €2000.
