Free extra topping - I don't see the problem.

Can't admit to working there myself, but two of my offspring have worked in pizza joints.

Both claim that dropping food on the floor is seldom a reason it shouldn't make it into the customer's order.

Is there some easy check list that your pizza has been dropped?

When I lived in Gaborone (Botswana), the wife made a phone order for two pizzas to be delivered. When she opened the first one, there was a mouthful taken out of it...

Right, I ken hoo these things work - pages/postings etc, but it is great fun to see how the google key words shove up pizza, topping etc on this thread. Just 'refresh' for hours of fun (and frustration for Senor Drapes)...;)

no current refs to cheap pizza ads now on this thread..
Spooky huh?:E
Except now and again on the unpopular RH sidebar..

Bedford in the 70s was an excellent place for pizza. So many of the immigrant brickworkers were Italian and some had settled and brought over their family (including Mamma) and there were genuine Italian restaurants and a couple of pizza ovens (wood-fired) with the dough spun before your eyes as you waited for your pizza.

Actually it is surprisingly 'delicate'. The smoking sheds are less than 50 yards from the pub.

Wasn't it Rowan Atkinson in a sketch about a fast food place.?

"Two deep pan with this and that."

"Coming up"

He sneezes right onto the pizza. Examines it as only he can.

"One with extra Mozzarella and diced peppers."

My pal owned a bakery. Nice old style one on the main drag. He had spent hours fluffin about with the icing on a wedding cake, when the final straw broke his rather short-tempered back. He threw the cake down into the coal cellar.

His wife was the mainstay of the customer relations department no doubt, cos she got it out. Scraped it off and re iced it. What would they have said as they were making their wish with the first cut if they'd known?
