Maximus are going to get rid of their C-130's sometime this year. They have 3 new A300-600F which will be delivered late this year. So if you want to apply as a pilot there, make sure it's not on the C-130.

Not sure were you suck your facts from, but the hercs were made redundant as of 1st of march.
some of the crews still hanging around and maybe a good thing, because the Hercs now have gone back to the air force. The air force have now realized they have no crew, and now might hire the Maximus guys to operate the planes at much increased pay. And these jobs were organized NO THANKS to MAximus, although there VPFO (or better known as C*&nt) Bassam is now trying to take the credit for this, Although GHQ still has to approve this.

As far as Maximus goes, Their P&CEO, Buhazza ( who is a poster here) promised all the crews (c-130) from day one that if the herc ever got made redundant, the herc crews would be absorbed into the company, because everyone was part of the Maximus family. Yet when it happened, all fifteen guys were left to their own devices, some guys are still fighting to get their redundancy money from these crooks.

It has been an eye opener for a lot of the airbus crews though, since Maximus only has one contract for their Airbus aircraft (crystal air cargo) and even that seems to be in jeopardy. the three "new" airbus they bought they cant even find work for, let alone crew, and since the other five on offer was bought by a german crowd, most of the crew are thinking of going to dresden after how the Herc crews were treated.

So, YOU WANT TO WORK FOR MAXIMUS?
GOOD LUCK!

Yes I'm aware that their C-130's got redundant from 1st of March, and that all the C-130 crew have been given their notice.

The management obviously thought that it's not efficient to keep the Hercules fleet, and with it goes the crew as well.

You cannot find pilots qualified to fly the Hercules everywhere, so I wish you best of luck, and I hope you get a job.

PS: I don't work for Maxumus, I just try to keep track of things :)

How does one get on the IL-76 or AN-124.
Separate company aircraft?

Maximus won't rate you, especially for the IL or AN. Their current flight deck crews for these aircraft are ONLY Russians or Ukrainians who already were type rated.
