With all the change to route structure, higher load factor in Europe etc. - How likely is it CX would allow you to transfer from Europe to US on the 747?

You being obtuse about 747 vs 744?? We have plenty of 744's in USA albeit some 744F's.

Should be easy. See your CoS and the Basings agreement for terms but if they don't work for you, go see the basings office and ask.

Think'in this might have been a hypothetical question ..as it was "you" and not "one" or "me" in the question.

Also not really an easy question to answer as all of that is governed by seniority (yes there is a little bit of that here !!) So if you have the right to work (or the willingness to commute a LONG way) then you can take a base in N. America in SENIORITY, provided it is seniority within your fleet as using a joker in the company now is really....well...a JOKE ! oh and providing they don't hire off the street for it !

Clear as mud !!

Peace out

pretty unlikely right now. There are no transfers being allowed for FOs on the freighter and the 744 pax bases are almost all closed to FOs. Last I heard SFO was still open but was about to close.

I can understand the reason for the Pax bases being closed for intake, but why are the cargo bases? Isn't it still the plan to open MIA and IAH later this year or early next?
