Not sure if this is the correct forum for this posting, but just wondering if any ppruners could shed some light on the procedures airlines adopt when confronted with disruptive passengers, i.e.

Excluding passengers from travelling - how do airlines enforce this, do we in the UK have a list which all UK airlines can access?

Would say BA tell VS about an incident to stop the passenger travelling?

And would an ASR be completed for this type of incident and would anyone happen to know if there is a copy of an ASR online to look at?

There are indeed a number of lists held containing the names of people that have caused problems in the past. More often though they are held only by that airline in question. Once we start to exchange such information we fall foul of Data Protection and Civil Rights just to name a few issues. There all to many incidents of trouble causing passengers who should not have been accepted for the flight but staff failed to inform anyone either Security or indeed Cabin & Flight Crew of the service.

Some airlines have also had a fair number of celebs that have kicked off one recently at T5 who is some sort of model or was, though she was refused travel on one flight she was carried later on that day. Sadly with the celebs the Airlines are fearful of a bad press.

Staff now have to undergo a level of security training and this issue is covered within that, if you are not happy about peoples behaviour before boarding tell someone and always tell the crew.

Isn't a pity that the aircraft door cannot be opened to eject these numpties?

How long would it take to drop from 36000 feet?

PS - I am not including Messrs Walsh or O' Leary in any calculations...crap would have a different rate of fall...?

From what I know, there is no 'co-operation' between airlines as far as disruptive pax is concerned.

BA staf made comments about La Campbell being bumped and letting 'the other airline' (i.e. VS) have her instead.

Can you imagine if all airlines cooperated... all those disruptive rockstars would be screwed. :-)
