I am wondering if anyone knows the requirements in order to obtain the above licences for someone with a JAA ATPL with 737NG. I am thinking a few years ahead of myself, but am wanting to get the equivalent licences as my other half is American and I am a dual National (British/Canadian) and we may want to settle out there in the future.

If this can be done while I have a JAA CPL and can transfered to a FAA and Canadian CPL with 737 I'd be interested to know too.

If anyone has any knowledge of good TRTO's over that side of the pond where this can be done I'd be most gratefull.

Cheers

To find out how to convert your licence i'd phone/email the FAA FAA: Home (http://www.faa.gov/index.cfm) they are usually very helpful, and can do it quite quickly once they have certain paper work from the CAA. The stumbling block comes in the form of the CAA who charge a not inconsiderable amount of money for the privalage of using their fax machine...now there's a supprise :ugh:
