Anyone have any experience (recent) with KAL as an F/O (typed or not)? If so, what are your impressions of the process, from interview through training through flying the line?
Specific Qs:
Do you fly with Korean Capts, expats, or a mix? Is there any realistic upgrade opportunity? Any good agency experiences (or bad ones)?
Thx.

Look into the recent threads here about KAL......No Type = No Job.
Just as a quick repeat: No upgrade, No quality of training, No sectors given to you to fly from most of the Local Captains, they do not trust a F/O when he is PF. Did you ever hear the old slogan: Gear up, Flaps up, shut up?..... That is what you can expect for most of the time.
A local F/O waits about about 12 to 14 years until he getīs a left seat. Can you join the cue and wait for that time?. How would you like it when in your company a Pilot joines 8 years later then you and gets his Command just 2 or 3 years later and you still wait for your turn? Put yourself in that situation and then then get about the climate you have when you fly with another F/O who acts as Cruise Captain. Your English is good? I hope because you can do all the talking on the Radio.....That is what you can expect roughly.
Fly safe and land happy
