Hey all.

I was wondering if anyone knew the requirements for a Class 1 medical in indonesia?

Especially for very slight colour deficiency.

I have a normal class 1 medical in Aus and was wondering if i can just convert it to Indonesian, or if i would have to set yet another test?.

Thanks:)

Can someone flying in Indonesia let me know what is the procedure to get Indonesian class 1 medical? (for someone who is not from Indonesia)

I mean, can someone with a FAA OR ICAO license come to the medical center and get his medical tests done? Or what exactly is the procedure?

Yes, I've seen a few pilot hopefulls get their medicals done before they had jobs in Indonesia so it shouldn't a problem. It costs about 500,000 rp (700,000 rp if you need to do the treadmill). Get it done in the morning and you'll have your certificate issued to you midday. You'll need to fast for 12 hours before doing the blood test.

Register when you arrive. They'll give you a questioniere to fill as well as a slip which have all the tests you need to do. You then visit various rooms at the medical centre to perform the tests and the doctor will sign that slip indicating you've completed that particular test. When all tests are done, you wait for your results. The certificate will be issued there and then.

So you mean,

I wont have to register beforehand. I can just take a ticket to Jakarta, show up at the Medical Centre (Plz confirm it is this , Civil Aviation Medical Centre
Bandar Baru Kemayoran, Jakarta, Indonesia 10720 )
And register then and there, and do the Class 1??

Also, I wont need any employer details or Indonesian Aviation Licenses?
