Do any of you guys have life insurance over here through IFALPA or some other channel? My US policy was just canceled on me for residing at a foreign address (HK). I was looking into products here but comparable coverage would cost me damn near 2.5 times what I paid in the US - what gives? Do they inflate the price because you're more likely to die here from the airborne carcinogens?

With the recent typhoon, the air should be cleaner for the time being...
Premiums are dictated by 3 factors:
Age
Term Plan
Sum covered
I am currently looking into a plan for myself. So if I can help contact me on [email protected].
I would be suprised if you have to pay 2.5x more for life over here. What providers have you been looking at?
