It was created in flash. What he did is simple but a bit timeconsuming in programming.. .Every colour is a single object and placed on a layer. He than stapled the layers one above the other to have the man created from birdsview. . .The top layer follows the mouse in a constant mouse-position-check procedure. All following (lower) layers are simply time delayed. Every layer has an own delay which is programmed to be again even more delayed than the next upper layer.. .Due to this delayed action of all the individual layers the "man" appears to be three-dimensional.. .. .As said, takes a lot of testing and thinking, but for me the basic idea is much more interesting and certainly worth to see.. .. .Actually (and this I forgot, hence the edit) he also checked the cursor position in relation to the browsers edges and programmed the turning effect as well in. . .. .If you rapidly move the cursor diagonally from left upper to right lower corner you can watch the single frames moving as they "disassemble".. .. .I assume he did a movie for each layer and packed them in a stack as this would provide a better frame and time control.. . . . [ 05 March 2002, 21:05: Message edited by: FL310 ]

Looks like it has died now - pity.

Yes, rather a poignant message there now. Wonder what happened ? Damn good piece of code while it lasted though.

Good news ... Thanks to a Google search, the man does exist elsewhere!. .So for those yet to witness it Here it is!
