Anybody experienced the same problem?

The new CPL renewal forms, on the hour summary, it says "3 hours PIC prior to skill test in the last 6 months".

I tried to get any answer from the CAA, because that means anybody flying F/O has to basically rent a small plane and fly 3 hours circuits PIC or whatever, eg: DUAL IF Training with an instructor, F/O hours not accepted (according to what I´ve been told so far).

How stupid is that? Beside the costs.

At CAA I only was handed around without ever getting a straight answer.

Anybody has any advice?

Thanks

How about 6 hours as FO?ask them if it doesn't equate to 3 hours PIC

Good point. What about PIC time as a P1 holder of a sinlge crew aircraft. IE B200, small biz jets etc that are operated with two crew. I can legally log this time as I have a P1 rating on the aircraft. Does this count? Ermmm...
