The lovely Mrs fob bought me a Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse for Christmas and I'm chuffed to bits with the freedom from wires.

But, and there's always a but, because they are battery operated, to econmise on current consumption there are no Caps Lock or Num Lock indicators on the Keyboard.

Not a problem with the Num Lock and for most of the time not a major problem with the Caps Lock but when entering a case-sensitive password all you get are asterisks. So unless you try a keypress in another field (UserName, for instance) there's a 50/50 chance of getting it wrong. This is boring.

Anyone know of an on-screen indicator of Caps Lock status?

Logitech's wireless keyboards come with software that shows the status of Num Lock and Caps Lock on the task bar.

Thanks folks! Works perfectly. Did a bit of a search and found a few others, but this one'll do fine.
