CX wins best Asian airline award
Cathay Pacific was awarded Best Airline Asia in a recent survey conducted by Skytrax Research of the UK. Skytrax claim this was the largest-ever global survey of airline passengers, with 2.7 million votes submitted from around the world over a period of nine months.
As well as being voted best in Asia, CX took third place in the Airline of the Year 2001 award, coming behind Emirates, in first place, and Singapore Airlines.
Voters were asked to judge airlines on airport services at their home base, cabin seating standards, onboard catering, inflight entertainment, and cabin staff service.
