A Munich airport spokesman said the plane's left carriage briefly caught fire and was put out within two seconds.

Judging from the video, it was the longest two seconds of the pax's lives...

It may have taken them two seconds to put out the fire, but if you look at the video, it seems to have taken them the best part of a minute to arrive.

When the video started, it looked like an orderly egress. No passenger control outside, though. People walking up to the burning brakes, wondering around and back toward the airplane, no organized effort to round up or move the passeners to safety. Then the attack from the cannons on the trucks, past the passengers egressing the aft exit...and when they knock the fire down the passengers are still in the door, still waiting to egress.

People aren't in any big hurry there, so I doubt it's a turning point in anyone's life...but the most glaring aspect of that brief shot is the clear lack of passenger control.
