I am due to start MCC with AFT in the next couple of weeks. Just wondering if anybody has a bit of info on what routes they fly during the course, or any useful background before I start.

I already have a CRJ-200 POH which is being interogated heavily.

cheers all

A friend did his MCC there and I flew it a few times in "jollies". As far as I can remember there were only a few airports in the database MAN and AMS being two of them. I hope for your sake the scenery has been updated because on my last jolly it consisted of generic everything once you were on the "ground". Having said that, the scenery isnt really the point of your MCC course.

Have fun and enjoy the learning experience!

No, the scenery hasn't been updated, but as you say, its not really the point!

MAN, STN, AMS, GVA, LGW all figured heavily when i did mine at AFT.

And as for the technical stuff, again its not really the point. I would say spend more time learning the T/O, ILS, NPA, Circling Profiles. And how to run the FMS.

And have fun!
