There is quite a discussion on another forum about a Turkish A310 that went missing over Lagos only to materialize at Lome some hours later. Apparent total electrical and communication failure. Pilot decided to head "West along the Coast" in hopes of finding Lome, Accra or Cotonou. Are things really that bad around Lagos that radar could not find said aircraft and no visual clues so that pilot had to head for the coastline?????
