Forgive me if this is old news - but I just read it in a magazine article...some paragraphs have been ignored...

Majestic, a new game from electronic Arts that launches next month, deftly follows you into everyday life, dropping hints and clues whilst dragging its world into yours. The game, for Windows only, will launch on EA.com, Electronic Arts gaming hub.

In Majestic, you are swept into an "X-Files"-esque world of conspiracy to uncover clues about a violent crime. You can play the entire game on line, but to truly live it, you need to register your contact information at the site. Next thing you know, mysterious faxes and phone messages arrive, leading you through the adventures that make up the game. Once you have the names and numbers of the games characters, you can tap into their voice mail with your phone, and characters sometimes send instant messages to your computer.

In many ways, the game (which will probably cost no more than $10 a month [£6] as part of the EA.com premium service) attempts to do to computer games what orson Welles did to radio theater with his 1938 broadcast of "The War of the Worlds" - makes the story real to the audience.

Blah, blah, blah...

Sounds neat, huh?
