I would like to do some flying in the carribean and was wondering is it a good place to start a carear in aviation

You don't give any back ground on yourself. The Caribbean is rather large and diverse. Generally it would hard unless you are local or have local connections.

Many airlines, including caribbean ones, have made cuts lately due to the current economic turmoil. Check the above jobs thread and Caribbean-ALPA: The Caribbean Air Line Pilots Association (http://www.caribbeanalpa.com) web page.

Thanks for the tip. I travel to antigua ever year and love it. That is why I was wondering if it would be a good place to start.
