I might sound a bit behind the times but do their cabin crew really have to do facepainting (of children, I imagine)?

Hiya,

Pacific Blue/Polynesian Blue are now advertising and recruiting directly as previously this was done through a company called Contract Aircrew Services. As of the 18/07 Contract Aircrew Services decided to not continue its contract with Pacific Blue/Polynesian Blue therefore they are now recruiting direct. They are at the moment re-doing their contracts with current staff and new staff that are coming on board.
And yes face painting is one aspect of training which they do as you can imagine during school holidays there are a lot of UNCH on board and this is just another way of providing a service to their guests.

Not only Akl but also Chc as well - You'll be part of the fabulous Pacific/Polynesian Blue team where you'll fly domestically within NZ, trans-tasman and also the Pacific Islands such as Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu and Rarotonga. Would be good to see a few more Aussies move over to NZ and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere and enviroment created here with Pacific/Polynesian Blue!
