Maybe this is a pretty stupid question..but.

Anyone can tell me where (or how) I can get an English or another language dictionary to use with Word? I have only the Portuguese version.

Tnx

For MS Office 2000
Try;
Start,
Programs,
Microsoft Office Tools, MS Office Language Settings,

From here install the additional language that you wish to support.

Tnx for the help Icarus ,but I am not using the 2000.
I tried some time ago similar procedures and almost went crazy. The program uses a specific dictionary. My Outlook Express although have support for English (US & UK :eek: ) and even Dutch. But I couldn't figure a way to move these things around.

Anyway...thanks again for the help!

Maybe you tell us which version of Word you are using...would make help a bit easier without guessing too much. :D :eek:

I think I let it be as my old computer is more likely to away in a near future...making me put my hands on the pocket (finally) and go hunting for a new machine.

tnx

Delete Word 97 and re-install. During the install it will allow you to select the dictionary language of your choice. English UK, etc.
