I took this photo on January 15th 1961 when night stopping in Salalah with a 152 Sqn Pembroke. The pair of SOAF Beavers were on a delivery flight from Aden to Bait al Falaj, Muscat. The Sultan inspected his new aircraft, but declined a trip in a Beaver because it only had one engine!

Brakedwell, you should send your pic of the Beavers to this (http://www.dhc-2.com/current_cover_page.htm) website. Neil has been working for years to catalogue every Beaver built, he'd love to have this shot. :ok:

If memory serves, I believe the last two Beavers built were delivered to the Crown Agents for onward shipment to the new South Yemen government in Aden circa 1967.
