Heard a funny story, I say funny since I had to have a nice long laugh about it when I heard.

Apparently Air Zimbabwe has been offered a couple of second hand 777 and some 737's by Boeing, in an effort to balance out the growing influence of China in the region.

Then again I just read that the USA has decided to increase sanctions against the Mugabe regime :hmm:

Anyone hear anything intresting along these lines?

What is the price of 777 in Zim dollars--100 septillion or so? :} If leased, the payments would be adjusted hourly.

777s , very useful for flying the remaining people out , and bringing cheap paper in for printing more 'money' .

They currently have Russian aircraft on order.

kotakota,

No such thing as Cheap paper anymore as the highest denomination note in Zim, very soon if not already will literally not be worth the paper its printed on. e.g. I believe its cheaper to wipe your b:mad:t on bank notes than to buy standard issue loo roll's.
