Qantas continues to down size it's in flight catering each time I fly.

The "salad" offering in my recent business class "meal" was made up of iceberg lettuce and baby spinach leaves. Nothing else. No tomato. No Onion. Just green leaves. Oh -- maybe it's the "Neil Perry Salad Dressing" that is meant to make all the difference :yuk::yuk::yuk:

Mind you since the "meal" was a steak sanger I was hardly surprised by theattempted "salad".

Crap meals and now crap safety -- I am beginning to rethink my choice of carriers.

Was that a domestic or international flight arkmark? Just curious, that's all...

Arky, it's not about the airline, it's about maximising management bonuses prior to exit.

If the Board had half a brain between them, they would do what smart U.S. companies are doing and audit the area concerned before a bonus is paid........................ and if the bonus is atrificially created by cost cutting, then no bonus..

A letter to the appropriate department might gain you more ground than posting here on a pilot network.
