A380 scheduled flights from Manchester?

I red in our local Messenger newspaper just after A380 flypast that it may be starting scheduled flights from Manchester soon.

Can anyone confirm that at all please?

Would be great to see it in on a regular basis.

Likely airline would be Emirates but not for a couple of years at least.
A lot of airfield/terminal infrastructure work probably needs to be carried out first.

Not much chance as I believe that MAN is not even a diversionary alternative for SQ at this time and does not have facilities for a 380?

I heard 2010 was the earliest possible start for EK A380 ops from MAN
