I don't mean to but in in this section of PPrune but i know you guys/gals can give me a very quick & precise answer!

If you fly for the RAF, can you fly for an airline at the same time?

Whilst I was doing PVR-porridge at Binnsworth chasing up alleged recalictrant reservists, I was told that there were a couple of ex-FJ mates flying for the airlines who had responded to call-out notices and were back filling UK-based flying appointments.

But then again, there were also tales of certain aircrew reservists who had learned how to maximise their reserve payments whilst minimising their reserve commitment....

Which only went to prove that there simply weren't enough regular aircrew for the RAF to cope with Bliar's fraudulent adventurism.
