Hey all,

After reading reports about the Vulcan taking to the skies again, are there any plans for the Vulcan at SEN to do just that?

I can't recall ever watching the Vulcan from my very own eyes, so as a full-on spotter i am very keen to see this iconic aicraft in the air and especially if it lives at my local airport!

It's eaten up all the money that can be raised getting that one back in the air! I assume it must have been the best one available.

Go catch it. Unbelievable. I was at Fairford many years ago when an RAF Vulcan did an aerobatic display. I stopped in my tracks and watched mouth agape. I have never seen anything like it in the air in my life. Extraordinary sight I will never forget, and one hell of a design and one hell of an aeroplane. Mind you the display pilot must have been a total lunatic, but was he goooood!

aviatordom - can't help noticing what is most likely to be a little
typo in your details up on the left side there !

Location is given as Southend, which corresponds with EGMC, and
also agrees with SEN in the thread title . . . . . . .

. . . . . . but after a little looking up I discovered that SNC is actually the code for SALINAS airport, in the South American Country of Ecuador !
