Hi,

Just finished my CPL / MECIR, getting everything in order to move up north in 2-3 weeks, was wondering what the chances are of getting a job in the middle of the dry season or have i missed out?

Does anyone know of operators who are short of staff at the moment?
A mate has just finished his PPL and looking for some hours and offered to fly around up there for a bit and visit a few operators, so we are just trying to shortlist the places we will go.

The operator I did my training with seems to want me to stay and do my instructor rating and work for him, im dont really want to instruct if I can avoid it. The operator has been telling me that i will need 200+ Hours and 100cmd before insurance would cover me for a charter job, is this true?
I did the 150 hour gst free course hoping it would save some money, ended up with 181TT and 19 Multi under IFR (5 ICUS), 70cmd. and I have done DG awareness, and First Aid Cert. Am I at all employable with these hours or do i need to get the 200tt 100cmd?

NT is also an option, anyone have much info about going there?

Any info or advice is appreciated! Cheers!:ok:
