I don't know about any one else but I was upset to see the state of one the Concorde's given or lent to the US.Pictures in various news papers earlier this week show the aircraft in a quite desperate condition.
It seems shameful that in its early days Concorde was almost stopped in its tracks by early US environmentalists, then when the type was finally withdrawn from service many years later the US wished to keep an example and we duly obliged, now the Intrepid aircraft carrier next to were the Concorde was parked is off being refurbished at a local navy yard in New York and Concorde gets dumped in some corner, gets hit and damaged by a truck and is covered in bird crap.
Its a little of our history that is being destroyed.
