While regrettable that this loss of $60 million fine occurred (regrettable because they got caught) don't shed a tear for the poor American consumer.

The worlds most war mongering exploitative nation cries foul over a bit of price fixing.

I'll give ya price-fixing- try NAFTA ya self -righteous yankee sh!ts.

With your economy tanking into major depression...well you've finally got yours...I just hope other country's give the finger finally to this overly greedy me me me country.

Jump out of your gas guzzling SUV's and start walking to the bread line:{:{:{

"War mongering exploitative nation; Yankee sh’ts".

Gee, I guess we would all have been better off if they stayed home in 1917 and 1941, and everyone knows we could have ended the cold war without them.

Did you happen to notice the missiles Iran test fired the other day?

I thank God for the USA.

This is supposed to be a professional forum. Your post is an embarrassment to us all.

Policy aside,

The U.S.A.'s penchant for consumer goods (inexpensive) has increased the size of the East's economy and quality of life exponentially. It has transferred decades of technology, processes and wealth to emerging economies in a matter of years.

While employed at Cathay, you must have no vested interest or gain from any of those facts. Or maybe the above is bollocks?

Tis' no more meaningful or intelligent a name than 'monster', 'sleeve of wizard', 'drunknsailor' or a fox.

If the U.S. is in the wrong, they will pay for it (unfortunately, collaterally sucking in some other nation's banks and financiers that were riding the gravy train). It was more a point that there has been a financial & informational shift in outsourcing that has been beneficial to others. We can't look past that.

Here is the image of Kitsune, I mean Daedalus, & I (before I offed myself)...

People were warned not to sail too close to the edge of the Earth once also. How did we find out they were wrong?

Thanks for the laugh though! Cheers

Wow, where does one begin with a thread so rooted in the very ill content we are being accused of?
War mongering eh? The Iraqi woman and children who were raped, and tortured under Saddams regime tend to disagree with you. They now have a chance for freedom, though the radical islamic divisions within Iraq seem bent on not allowing that dreaded thing called freedom.

Which country gives more foreign aid/donations/ than the rest of the world combined?

No matter the country you happened to hail from good sir, we either kicked your butt, or we saved it.

God Bless the United States of America.

I would write a few more thoughts but my V-10 is outside running with the AC blasting on full. Viva liberty.

That's OK monster330.

We'll make sure and "conserve fuel" next time somebody threatens your nation with harm, or some natural disaster hits your neck of the woods. We'll just refer you to your local chinese relief agency for emergency supplies and a shoulder to cry on :hmm:

We should have let the Japanese own you. You un-grateful prick, if it wasn't for the US and its lack of "fuel conservation" you would'nt be speaking "mandatory" you prick.

sqwak7700

Now,now sqwak, stop crying, and there's no need to get personal on me.
You have no idea what country I'm from, so what is this BS about the Japanese.

Merely stating the obvious re the blatant hypocracy of the Us Gov't and its skimeball lawyers who want to prosecute every shadow they see.
They must be living in the dark then huh??

Back in your box sqwat, I mean sqwak

Oops, Meant slimeball.

Also, huge arrioance on your part Sqwat that you think any country has the power to let another country "own" it.

Probably better to just invade on a pretext of, say, WMD.

...hey Dubya, look, can't see the WMD for all the oil....YeeeeHaaaaaaa!!

My take on the matter is as follows:

If management occurred this fine then it should come out of there bonus's or profit share! Why take it out of the pockets of front line staff! After all the management are the ones making all these decisions that affect our outcome? We are merely their tools, so they should be coping the flack and penalty not us.

Meow!!!

Yeah a CX guy should hope and pray the US economy goes in the tank for a prolonged period. After all Cathay's bottom line derives very little revenue from the US market...

I'm sure Hong Kong's economy will steam right through a strong US recession as well. BTW, WMD and Dubya attacks get old even for this Yank who didn't buy any of that crap when he was supposed to. Half of me wants Barak to win so idiots like you will shut it for a few months.
