Does anyone know of a decent shareware/freeware FAX programme I can download. The one supplied with my modem is poor to say the least (communicate lite).

W95/98 comes with ms fax, it's not installed by default, you have to hunt for it on the cd can't remember where exactly it is.

Symantec Winfax Pro V9.0 is really very good and available for $3
ex Singapore or Kuala Lumpur pirate shops.
Tight integration and regular updates via internet make it almost fool proof and works very well with Nokia Data Suite V3.0

Isn't that illegal!

Sounds like it to me!

GB. If you don't live more than a few miles from LHR I can help you out. I have Winfax 9.0 and you can load it if you wish.

Sad to say I won't post it. The last time I lent someone a disc - to be returned - I didn't see it again.

You can download a 30 day trial of WinFAX 9.0 from Symantec's website.

If you want to upgrade it to a full non-limited version, all you have to do is pay for it (obviously) or you could always find one of those terribly naughty little crack files that are out there on the 'net and get it all for free http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/redface.gif

Drop me a line if you need steering in the right direction.

Cheers guys

Windows "At Work Fax" is good enough for my needs, and is up and running. Thanks spannersatcx.
