A friend is going to cross the pond flying a single engine and looking for a floating cold water suit.
Any idea where he can get one in the UK?

I see you're in Glasgow, the Aberdeen helicopter companies rent them out for the offshore workers, any joe bloggs can rent one however. I think one of the suit companies is called survival-one? Used to be called multifabs survival ltd, should be able to find on google.
