Any printer gurus care to venture an opinion on the following, please?. .Printer Epson Stylus 750. .PC Home brew, W98, 512M DDR etc. .Test page on Printer properties prints correctly. Printing a Fax cover sheet with no address, date, page numbers and message prints correctly. Printing the same Fax cover with the info incorporated generates a variety of results from overprint 'shadow writing' to the single page being split into three separate printed pages. Hve re-installed the drivers several times (having first deleted the printer) but no improvement. . .The printer feed is via a 'pass-through' on an Iomega Zip drive. All suggestions welcome.

How is it if not connected thru the Iomega?

Just an update.. .Have tried both suggestions - problem remains. Unfortunately, the re-install of Office Pro for the 'Word' component has made permanent changes to my Start-up screens with that "£%I*^*(()%$E)) MS Office short cut bar appearing on every boot-up. Even if I deselect it in the msconfig selection box, it reappears Soooo... now does anyone know how to get rid of the thing? - Presumably a Registry edit?

Have you tried running your printer through a USB port. While I guess it is hit and miss whether it would cure your problem if it is related to the Iomega then at least it might narrow it down.
I also run an Epson 750 and have had no problems at all but it runs so much quicker through the USB. If you don't have a USB driver for your printer either try the Epson site or email me.

Regarding MS shortcut bar I thought you could eliminate it permanently by clicking on on near the Office icon on the bar and selecting one of the options available and then you end up with yet another pop up window asking to confirm you never want to see it again - or something like that.
