Message Timing

Just noticed that the thread below has odd timings on the messages.

The initial messages are timed some 6-7 hours after later messages responding to the initial post.

Why is that?

Is it to do with profiles and what individual posters have their time zones set to?

I don't think it is a timezone thing as most of the posters are in UK and talking of a UK subject. IIRC the original 'yesterday' messages were actually from the mid-morning with later posts being in the evening.

Ie 1-10 were posted before 11 onward. Curious.

Just posted a timed message to that thread at 1058. It is timed at 0258.

The timestamp problem is a known issue that IB are looking into.
