According to the job posting , requirements are for JAA ATPL.
I d be surprised if Emirates would require any ICAO licenses, but its LCC, only JAA licenses.

I have seen jobs in saudi arabia requiring JAA tickets in the past.

my 2 cents

What about 'Al- Khayala's' A-320 operation out of Riyadh?...Do they require FAA or JAA licences?

Heard about one of the Qatari pilots, who recently resigned due to some big issues with the little man, who is starting up his own LC ops out of Doha.

He is a good operator and very knowledgeable...he could do it, as he has the right links in this country as well!

Sounded strange to me at the time but its starting to make sense.

Any new about this?
