Which is better
twin time or turbine time
I do realise twin turbine is ideal btw

Twin time for 500 hours, then turbine! Of course if Qantas is your goal it doesn't really matter, however if you are looking at regionals, RFDS, etc... then the 500 multi may come in handy.:ok:

Twin! (most operators require Twin time for insurance purposes... barely anyone blinks at the mention of turbine time... after 50/100/500 hours twin, they all want time on type)

A) 500 multi command.
B) Get yourself some turbine time.
C) Put your resume together and reap the rewards.

Turbine hours wont get you a solid gig like having 500 multi command will... Turbines are fun... but so is flying around in a glider... both wont get you anywhere unless you arm yourself with experience first.

1) 500 hours piston, multi-engine time - good
2) 500 hours turbine, multi-engine time - better
3) 500 hours turbine, multi-crew, multi-engine - much more betterer :}
4) 1000 hours turbine, COMMAND, over 20 tonnes, multi-engine, multi crew - best non-jet time you can get
