Hi

Anyone know places that do MCCI courses? (MCC Instructor Course).

All I found on the net was a price list dated 2005 from Oxford Aviation Training.

Thanks very much

Last time I looked in LASORS, the MCCI course was a two part affair.

Part one covered the teaching and learning skills (similar to the FI course) and if you are an FI, SFI, TRI etc then you are exempted part 1.

Part two is local training to familiarise yourself with the device, SOP and syllabus in use. All MCCIs will need to do parts two - on the machine they will be using. The CAA inspector will then watch a detail in action and (hopefully) give you the tick in the box.

Oddly enough, most of the CAA inspectors don't have the multi-pilot hours to be an MCCI (1500 hours multipilot time in aeroplanes)
