Just found this :-

Il62 landing on grass 900m.

about 1m 10 seconds into the video is when it gets interesting.

It must have taken some real skill to pull this one off without incident.
I would have requested some fresh underwear on arrival :O

Wasn't that impressed! Stripped out light with absolute minimal fuel- very light. The bounce did nothing to aid stopping. Not sure about the nose high drag technique on roll out- discouraged- better to get nosewheel down to get spoilers to assist braking effectiveness, but rough field technique may well be totally different. Reverse held on too long creating far too much FOD when there was still room to stop in.

Done for spectacle and cameras more than efficiency I think!

Reminds me of the Vulcan into Catterick. Could even have been an ex Mig pilot used to grass strips.

Actually I think I would have handled that exactly the same (hopefully without the bounce:)). Who cares about FOD in a museum piece? Spoilers up, nose high aerod. braking using lots of downforce on the tail to drive the main gear deeper into the grass and protect the noswheel so it doesn't gouge into the grass and snap off. Now, when's my next trip.....................
